Warsaw on Our Final Day in Poland

We have loaded our buses and are heading to the airport in anticipation of our flight to Israel. We had a good day in Warsaw, touring the prewar Jewish cemetery with its 250,000 interesting and different matzevot (headstones), and walking through the former Warsaw Ghetto area. We started at the UmschlagPlatz (deportation square), walked to the location of the Uprising headquarters, which was in a bunker below 18 Mila Street, and finished our walk at the Rapoport Monument, which is dedicated to ‘Am Yisrael, its Fighters and its Martyrs,’ for a closing tekes and group photo.
