Documentation
Each division asks for several pieces of documentation, including a Release of Information, student report cards or transcripts, standardized testing, and teacher recommendations (for Middle School and High School applicants only). These documents can be found in your online portal once you’ve created an account and begun the application process.

Learning about Leffell
To schedule a one-on-one conversation, please contact Lower School Admissions Director Diana Schutt Franklin or Upper School Admissions Director Jackie Grosser. Stay tuned for in-person and virtual opportunities coming soon.
Transportation
Daily student transportation to and from our campuses is generally provided by the public school district in which the family resides. To verify that you are eligible for this service, contact your local school district. Most districts’ transportation application deadline for free district busing is April 1. Please make sure to contact your district’s transportation department if you have not received a district busing application for your child/ren.
For most of those communities where public transportation is not provided, The Leffell School has arranged for private van and bus service, which is available at a fee. The communities that are currently serviced by private busing include Connecticut, New Rochelle (grades 6-12), Riverdale, Rockland, New York City, New Jersey, and White Plains (grades 6-12).
For more information, please contact Deanna Koski, operations associate, at transportation@leffellschool.org or 914-948-8333, ext. 8225 with any questions.
