Engineering: Judaica by Design

Students in this twelfth-grade course blend
engineering design with halachic inquiry:
• Research: students select a Judaica item to study,
examining its function and halachic requirements
• Design and Build: students design and prototype
an original, manufacturable version of the item
Students refine their designs to ensure each piece
is functional, environmentally responsible, and
halachically sound.
