Transportation

Daily student transportation to and from our campuses is generally provided by the public school district in which the family resides. To verify that you are eligible for this service, contact your local school district. Most districts’ transportation application deadline for free district busing is April 1. Please make sure to contact your district’s transportation department if you have not received a district busing application for your child/ren.

For most of those communities where public transportation is not provided, The Leffell School has arranged for private van and bus service, which is available at a fee. The communities that are currently serviced by private busing include Connecticut, New Rochelle (grades 6-12), Northern Westchester, Riverdale, Rockland/Orange counties, New York City, New Jersey, and White Plains (grades 6-12).

For more information, please contact Jill Mickol, operations associate, at transportation@leffellschool.org or 914-948-8333, ext. 8225 with any questions.
