Tal Cushmaro (Class of 2006)

Tal Cushmaro was a three-sport athlete – playing soccer, basketball, and baseball – and is considered one of the pioneers of Leffell/Schechter Westchester athletics. He earned All-League honors in basketball and All-Section honors in baseball. Tal was the winning pitcher in both the Regional Championship and State Semifinals en route to the baseball team’s New York State runner-up finish in 2005. Tal was inducted into the Leffell School/Schechter Westchester Athletics Hall of Fame in 2025.
