Why Give?

The Leffell School is set apart by our comprehensive, intellectually rigorous dual curriculum that empowers and cultivates each student in mind, body, and soul. Through the teaching of Jewish values, critical thinking, and openness to new ideas, we inspire our students to achieve academic and personal excellence, preparing them for college and the ever- changing world beyond. We encourage you to make The Leffell School a top priority in your family’s philanthropic budget by contributing generously each year.

Your tax-deductible gift to The Leffell School is an investment in the Jewish community of the future. To learn more about ways to give, contact Chief Advancement Officer Annie Watman at awatman@leffellschool.org.

Leffell School Annual Fund

The Leffell School Annual Fund is the number one fundraising priority for the school, providing critical funds for financial assistance, professional faculty development, academic and co-curricular enrichment opportunities, and much more. Gifts to the Annual Fund help bridge the gap between tuition and fees and the actual cost of providing an education at The Leffell School to our students. Through Annual Fund giving, our parents, alumni, alumni parents, grandparents, faculty, and friends partner with us and make a direct and immediate impact on all we do to fulfill our mission. Every gift, regardless of amount, is an investment in assuring that the school can continue to provide its outstanding educational and extracurricular programming to as many students as possible.

  • Lev v'Nefesh Sponsorship

The capstone experience of a Leffell School education is the transformative Lev v’Nefesh trip to Poland and Israel that truly touches the heart and soul of each student. Twelfth graders spend eight weeks walking in the footsteps of Jewish history and discovering their own paths as Jewish leaders of the future. This trip comes at significant expense to families, and with over 60% of our student body receiving tuition assistance, The Leffell School funds a large portion of this trip every year. By contributing to the cost of this trip, you are investing in the future of this momentous experience so that all students, regardless of financial situation, can enjoy the trip of a lifetime.
  • Legacy Giving
