Cara Levine
Associate Director of College Counseling
Cara Levine brings over a decade of experience on both sides of the admissions process to her role as associate director of college counseling. Before joining The Leffell School, Cara served as a college counselor at Rae Kushner Yeshiva High School and later Ma’ayanot Yeshiva High School for Girls, where she developed personalized strategies for students, built strong relationships with college admissions representatives, and created impactful programming such as essay and résumé workshops.
Prior to becoming a high school-based college counselor, Cara spent four years as a college admissions officer at Binghamton University, her alma mater, where she managed the New Jersey territory. She also operated a private college counseling practice, working with students from a wide range of schools and broadening her expertise across diverse institutions.
Cara holds a BA in human development (with an education minor) and an MS in guidance and counseling. She is a certified school counselor recognized by colleagues, admissions officers, and families alike for her warmth, expertise, and dedication. Cara lives in Northern New Jersey with her husband, daughter, and goldendoodle, Luna.
