Risa Vine

Risa Vine brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in independent school finance to her role as chief financial officer of The Leffell School. She has overseen business operations and financial management at a range of independent schools and is recognized for her expertise in guiding institutions toward long-term financial health and sustainability.

Before joining The Leffell School, Risa served as controller and director of business operations at The Allen-Stevenson School in Manhattan, and she previously held senior roles at Choate Rosemary Hall and Greens Farms Academy in Connecticut. Passionate about supporting Jewish education, Risa also dedicated more than 20 years of her career to leading the financial operations of two Jewish independent schools in Connecticut, Carmel Academy and Ezra Academy, where all three of her children attended.

Risa holds a BS in economics from Brandeis University and a graduate certificate in enterprise risk management from Boston University. She lives in Connecticut with her family.
