Chair of Support Services
Linda Salomon began her career at The Leffell School as a learning specialist more than 25 years ago. Currently, she serves as the chair of support services at the Lower School. Linda is dedicated to ensuring that our students at The Leffell School experience learning, success, and feel good about themselves as learners and capable young people. When asked why she loves being a part of the Leffell School community, Linda cites the sense of passion and warmth among faculty and families. She values open, positive communication with parents, teachers, and students. Linda Salomon earned both her undergraduate and graduate degrees at The American University in Washington, D.C. Her BA is in elementary and special education and she holds an MA in learning disabilities. In addition, Linda is always looking for professional development opportunities to broaden her repertoire of strategies to support both the teachers and children in the classrooms.
