Hadassah Wrightman
Chair of Hebrew Language and Chumash
Hadassah Wrightman joined the Leffell School faculty in 1986 as a Limudei Kodesh (Judaic Studies) teacher in the Lower School and is currently the chair of Hebrew language and Chumash for the Lower School and Hebrew language for the Middle School. Mrs. Wrightman has a teaching certificate from Teachers College in Haifa and earned certification from Beit Rutenberg to work with at-risk youth. Prior to moving to the United States, Mrs. Wrightman taught in Kiryat Shmona. She is a certified teacher of the Taal Am and Neta Hebrew language instruction programs. At the Jewish Theological Seminary, Mrs. Wrightman completed training in Hebrew language instruction and teacher supervision under the guidance of Dr. Adina Ofek. She and her husband Jeff live in White Plains and two adult daughters who attended The Leffell School.
