Samantha Mazo (Class of 2008)

A proud alumna of Schechter Westchester, Samantha Mazo joined the faculty in 2013. In her current role as dean of students, she works closely with students, families, and teachers to create a strong and vibrant school culture. She is passionate about helping students realize their full leadership potential and loves finding opportunities for them to get involved in the community. She advises student government, teaches health class, leads small group tefilah, and facilitates advisory groups.  Prior to joining our faculty, Ms. Mazo worked at Success Academy Williamsburg as a community relations coordinator. She graduated from Brandeis University and has a master’s degree in school counseling from Fordham University. Ms. Mazo lives in New York City with her husband. She enjoys cooking, crafts, and exploring new cities.
